PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

The HI7061L General Purpose pH Electrode Cleaning Solution is a 500 mL formulation designed to remove mineral deposits and surface films from pH and ORP electrodes. Regular use of this cleaning solution prolongs electrode life and ensures measurement accuracy by restoring proper junction flow and offset voltage.

IMPORTANCE OF CLEANING

Dirty or improperly cleaned electrodes cause drift and inaccurate readings. During calibration, the meter compensates for any offset voltage; ideally this offset remains within ±30 mV. If calibration is performed with a fouled junction, subsequent measurements will retain that error, leading to unreliable pH or ORP values.

USAGE

1. Rinse the electrode with distilled water.
2. Immerse the electrode junction in HI7061L cleaning solution for 15–20 minutes.
3. Rinse thoroughly with distilled water before measurement or calibration.
