Add some volume to your Physics Labs with the new Amplified Resonance Tube from Lascells: an exciting tool for the demonstration and study of standing waves in air columns. Designed for whole class Kundt’s tube demonstrations (by adding the provided polystyrene beads), impressive striation patterns are easily achievable at resonant frequencies. The included amplified speaker allows the device to be driven by any signal generator. Quantitative investigations can be accessed with the addition of the plunger (to vary tube length) and acoustic probe, including measuring the speed of sound in air to within 5%.
