Instructions

1. Use caution when removing from hot surfaces. Grip the spring lifter knob or center post with tweezers to avoid burns.
2. To mount on flat ferrous surfaces, remove the spring lifter knob if attached. Place the leaf-spring’s hole over the center post, then bend the spring gently so the dial sits flush.
3. Do not bolt the leaf spring with instrument nuts; it must flex to hold the thermometer flat.
4. After measuring, reset max-min hands by lifting the spring lifter knob until the indicator hands return to the dial’s center.
