SATO No.1519-00 Psychrometer SK-1

Product Introduction:
The SK-1 psychrometer features color-coded kerosene—red in the dry bulb and blue in the wet bulb—for instant readability. A sliding converter plate lets you calculate relative humidity when the temperature is between 0 °C and 40 °C. Ideal for greenhouses, HVAC checks, and indoor climate monitoring.

Specifications:
• Cat. No.: 1519-00
• Model: SK-1
• Measuring range: –10 °C to 50 °C
– Relative humidity calculable only at 0 °C–40 °C
• Accuracy: ±1 °C (0–30 °C); ±2 °C (other)
• Minimum scale: 1 °C
• Materials: ABS resin body; glass tubes; colored kerosene
• Dimensions: 104 × 269 × 28 mm (W × H × D)
• Weight: 110 g
• Lot size: 10 × 6 per carton

Usage Instructions:

  1. Fill the wet-bulb reservoir with clean water. Ensure the cotton gauze sleeve fully immerses before measuring.
  2. Place the instrument upright in still air, avoiding direct sunlight or drafts.
  3. Read both dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatures once stable.

How to Determine Relative Humidity:

  1. Slide the converter window so its ▶ marker aligns with the wet-bulb temperature reading.
  2. Locate the dry-bulb temperature on the left scale; follow the arrow from that point into the humidity scale.
  3. The number indicated is the relative humidity percentage (e.g., wet-bulb 15 °C and dry-bulb 20 °C → RH ≈ 56 %).

Cautions:
• Only calculate humidity when ambient temperature is within 0–40 °C.
• Handle gently—avoid dropping or shocks.
• Always keep the wet-bulb gauze clean and moist; replace with pure cotton gauze (no starch).
• Do not use for purposes other than indoor temperature and humidity measurement.
