Marienfeld Superior cover glasses are manufactured from borosilicate glass D 263® M (first hydrolytic class), ensuring exceptional flatness, smooth surfaces, and long-term optical stability. Unlike soda lime glass coverslips, these borosilicate coverslips maintain clarity and precision even after years of storage. They are particularly suitable for fluorescence microscopy and automated coverslippers, thanks to their non-corroding properties and precise machining.
